Brief History
1. In order to carry out the policy of small classes and schools, Kaohsiung Municipal Government set up a preparatory organization of Guochang Junior High School to arrange all the matters of establishing the school in August 1, 1994. After preparing for two years, Guochang has begun to recruit students since August 1, 1996. The director of the preparatory organization, Zhan Yuzhun, was the first principal of Guochang.
2. The campus area of our school is 3.26 hectares. There were sixty classes in our school at first. The school buildings were built up in three parts. The first and second parts of them were finished, including 44 ordinary classrooms, 18 special classrooms, the kitchen, the library, and the auditorium.
3. In our school, the buildings are magnificent, the environment is beautiful and graceful, and the facilities are complete. In addition, we have great performance on living education, and students’ counseling of entering senior high school, and we get good grades in all competitions. Guochang has become a high quality junior high school for the students in the community.
